A System load indicator to view internet network speed: download and upload, CPU usage and Memory consumption and also swap space use. It is based on the default system monitor so you will find all resources synced. It is a port of the gnome multiload panel applet to appindicators and vala
The usage is shown as a graph in the in the menubar itself. you can have multiple coloured indicators just by selecting Monitored Resources
Run the following commands one by one to install the applet
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:indicator-multiload/stable-daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-multiload
when installed launch the indicator from dash
